SEEING THE INNOCENCE, BEAUTY, RADIANCE, AND PERFECTION IN ALL POLITICAL EXPRESSION — FROM THE FAR LEFT TO THE FAR RIGHT

Can you glimpse it? These four words that have no opposites.

When you sink into Self, rest into the Being that you truly are, notice how this essence perceives the “other.”

From here, Self sees only innocence and beauty, everywhere.

Can you join me in compassion and understanding for what sometimes blocks this seeing within each of us?

Can you feel the tender, burdened parts that veil our vision, the contractions that arise in the name of protection and care?

And can you honor even these contractions as acts of love, as our inner protectors doing their best to keep us safe?

There is no problem here.

Even our defenses are love in motion.

In time, as protection relaxes in the warmth of awareness, true seeing dawns,and all expressions, all life, are revealed as Innocence, Beauty, Radiance, and Perfection.

For me, the shorthand for this homecoming is simple: the world as a kindergarten playground.

Many of us can see these four words shining in the faces of children, yet struggle to see their parents, the adults, or those across political lines in the same light.

But as this playground widens to include everyone, something miraculous happens:

our lives fill with joy and beauty,

because that is all we see.
