This is one of the favorite.  There is such love amongst the group as we explored being connected in love and care while curiously welcoming parts. We discussed the seeker obscuring what is sought, the fear of being authentic, exiling parts for others’ comfort, the discernment of causeless qualities of Self versus caused, Self as vibration, the value of simulteneous awareness of parts, and the essence of our nature.    We met disappointment, should’s, fear, sadness and loneliness.  We were connected while celebrating how life manifested in each of us.

This group went subtle. We explored for each of how we knew the Now, or timelesssness and time.  We explored Self, Being and Self qualities as in and of the timelessness and the parts with their focus on future or past as of time.  We also explored the relation in each of us of parts to Self and Self to parts including looking back and forth through the eyes of parts and Self.  Sinking in deeper, this is an exploration of  the relations between form and formlessness (parts and Self) thus the title The Tao of IFS.  12/26/23

In this typical EIFS group, we begin with each of the eight of us sharing our most prominent background quality of Being and our loudest expression of life in time, labeled a part. We then proceed into a 10 minute “dive” into Riding the Bike of Being, aka practicing maintaining our balance in or as Being/Self while arisings/parts grab our attention, leaning begins, and the system learns to “Self-correct” in returning to balance. This group included exploration of the narrator voice, what are parts are truly longing for and what happens when that is realized to be available here now, awareness even during sleep, what are each of our training wheels for remaining in balance, radical acceptance, parts as unburdened in flow, being the river of peace and love, self-disgust, intrinsic joy, earnest doing parts, and welcoming what arises as our guests. 1:25hr 1/10/23, love, connectedness, 1st View, 9

This group is a gentle falling in together of a primarily tender feminine flavor. One speaks of her opening into “life just can’t be any better”, into “complete ok-ness”. Another speaks of our aspiring to know the “unburdened within the burden” or fulfillment within lack. Another speaks of the fear of turbulence yet the presence of peace. Another speaks of lot’s to do while in the peace, calm and joy here now. In the midst of all of this, together we fell in together in this love, completeness, Self. 1-9-23

In this loving small group wonderful sample of a typical EIFS workshop, we explored:
-Can we find parts that just want to be enjoyed as they are? Just as we appreciate being enjoyed for who we are as we are, do our parts want the same? Can you hear those parts?
-Finding Ok-ness even with the ongoing presence of a frustrated, resistant part
-Meeting our parts from quiet intimacy
-What is intimacy for each of us as an intrinsic quality of Self and what’s it like when we sink into that intimacy and know it more fully throughout and within

-What’s it like to just be in allowance of what is here?
-Exploring Self as Affectionate Awareness
-Exploring the relative density of parts
-Celebrating a part that “Can’t decide what to say” and is that ok when that part is in the foreground?
-Finding fascination with parts that react to people, “people upset me”, with the polarities that live in us.
-Finding fascination with parts that are concerned about my body. Discerning the pain from the concerned part. Is it ok that there is a loud concerned part present?
-Exhaustion from part that feels responsible for everything
-Can we find ok-ness with physical symptoms like a headache being here along with the parts that might desperately want relief? In the midst of that, if asked “how are you?” what’s the response?

Through this EIFS birthday party group video, in being with eight of us who know each other quite well, you’ll experience:
-an expanded sense of a birthday party where all expressions of us, all our parts are welcomed and celebrated.
-tuning in through your universal tuning fork as we each share of the quality of Self most prominent in our systems in helping each other find our versions and your version of it.
-loving your parts that want the world and others to be different.
-compassion for your wounded parts and their longings for healing.
-appreciation for parts’ attachments wounds and how they continue to long for what they missed.
-discerning parts that grasp for fulfillment through objects in experience and reconciling that with glimpses of fulfillment is here.
-fascination about your inner world.
-knowing that home or sanctuary is here now.
-being in the inner tension of concurrent happy and sad parts
-parts being met by calmness
–parts being close and parts far away, how this plays in each of our systems and what’s that like.
–compassion for our parts that believe they have a formula for safety and fulfillment and the parts that resent and resist them.
-parts that rarely feel safe.

Guided EIFS group exploring through our 8 experiences.  Focuses on group resonance and seeing the beauty of our humanity and parts.

Healing What Remains: Hearing the Attachment Wounds of our young parts through what is being longed for and finding what is most like that which is being longed for that is here now. There group of six was facilitated through five time periods of our youth, from infancy to 19, and in each period our parts were invited to join at a particular setting like a park or bedroom where they received attention as to what they really needed. We listened for what was missing, for their injury, their attachment, and what would give them fulfillment or healing and then inquired as to what quality of Self accessible here and now is most like this being longed for. After, we went around the group as each shared of the experience with their parts. We explored how the parts were seen in their longing. Did we see them as innocent and precious? Were their critics or spiritual achievers who preferred that some parts weren’t here? How did we hear each other’s parts. There was new territory explored in this workshop of EIFS. In this typical 1.5hr EIFS group, we celebrated how life expressed itself in each of us as Self (Being/Is-ness) and as Parts (thoughts, feelings and sensations).  We found our common humanity in the fulfillent of each other’s expressions of being and in the lack, want, desire and resistenace in our expressions of our parts.  All was welcomed.  12/22/23

(Older Zoom, previous version of EIFS) As always, our focus is on celebrating our parts.  In this workshop, parts ranged from blended polarities that were obscuring Self  to parts that were knowing themselves as infused with Self.  We dove into appreciating everyone’s parts and through that Self became more evident.

(Applying previous version of EIFS) Not included in video, each of 8 participants shared their present most prominent quality of Self and loudest part.  The video begins with a dive into our qualities, where are they and what’s the somatic experience of them.  Then, we recognize our parts while being aware of the Self qualities they arise in.  Are our parts aware that they are not alone and can they feel the presence of Self?  How does our system enable us to be aware of the ever-presence of Self concurrent with presence of multiple parts?  Everyone invited to find their own metaphor such as planetarium, sun or hot tub.  Most of the final thirty minutes is working iwth our loudest parts, those that roar.  Can we effortlessly hear what they are longing for?  What’s most like what they long for which is here now?  We end celebrating our precious parts just as they are.

In this group,  I join as a participant  sharing of life difficutly and exploring ever-present ok-ness, the discernment within a part of that which is unburdened and the burden or charge, and the simultaneous awareness of multiple parts.  The group goes deep with sharings such as parts are all snowflakes of ever-present snow or water, Self is the ocean depths and all is made of water, Self is Love, Self is warmth, Self is expansive spaciousness, Self is the nurture of ever-present nature and soil.  May you enjoy this rich Christmas exploration and celebration.   12/23/23
